Eggs


Context:

I made this for a lit-mag at my school when I was a freshman. I think I was the only one who didn't write about their cat getting cancer on it's tattoo and then everyone at school figures out.


I took a pan for my meal to begin

I found a box of eggs, and put them in

Stirring the eggs without a plan or route

I realized near the end before scraping it out

I forgot margarine

The painting rests upon the wall

To hear it shout; to hear it fall

I see the painting, it speaks just to me

The lone casted frame, within must I see

The painting shouts, "Help! I'm not well!"

Hops, from pad to pad

A frog is sad

He recalls a joke

He lets loose a croak

Change, from sad to sad

Balloon


Context:


Everyone wants to learn through conjecture and not through observation.


Dig a ditch, build a moat

The balloon will allways float

The balloon ascends and enlightens, embracing the sky
